"Know thyself"... can be tricky since the minute we try to do this, we split ourselves into subject and object. The poor ego gets tied up in knots and tautologies. What we can do, however, is to experience life, which is different from thinking about it. Experience is unitive, thinking by its very nature is fragmenting.
